Rachel and Joseph were such a fun couple to photograph because straight away they were having fun with each other, forgetting that they were being photographed. Rachel is also a local photographer, and she’s also a newlywed! They got married in May of last year. They live up in Layton, and we headed over to the Adams Canyon trailhead and played in the snow for a while. I loved this location because we got the snowy tree scene in the beginning and the open views of the city the further we hiked up. There’s just something special about looking out onto your city with your loved one.

It also helped that Rachel and Joseph are both so photogenic and model-like (I swear they’ve had experience or something!)! They went with the flow and just had fun rolling around and running through the snow. Joesph is a gymnast so he also got to show off his strength and carried Rachel around without difficulty. How fun!
