Jacob & Sarah welcomed their first child into the world January 30th at the Intermountain LDS Hospital in the Avenues! Sarah is a fellow photographer, and I wanted her to sit back, relax and enjoy their first moments with their new son and let me capture them. Henry was a couple weeks late, and just as they were going to induce labor, he decided to make his grand entrance!

For those of you unfamiliar, a “Fresh 48” photo session is a special session at the hospital within the first 24-48 hours of a newborn’s life. This is a great option for families who want photos in the hospital, but not the whole labor or birthing process. It’s a lifestyle-type session, which captures the family meeting and greeting the new baby, as well as capturing the special and tiny details of the hospital and the mother & baby’s room.
